13th Hour Gift Ideas

We are finishing up a great week showing you our two new collections: Bonjour and 13th Hour.  Debbie, Lori, Michelle and Vicki can’t wait to share their projects they’ve created using the 13th hour.  There are some great gift ideas that could be applied to the Halloween season or any other for that matter.

“13th Hour Chalk Board” by: Lori Williams Leng

Lori Says:
“I love this project I did using one of our frames.  In no time I made this adorable chalk board that could hang anywhere and be ready to jot down messages in a flash.  I keep a chalk board always in my kitchen to make notes on, of grocery items I need as I run out.  It’s a great organizational tool for the house.  I think I’m going to take down my current chalk board and replace it with this one…it’s beautiful.  I adore the extra bling that I nestled in the corner.  It just really pulled it all together.”

Kaisercraft Products Used:
Afternoon P733, Evening P732, Black Lace Pack EM929, Chipboard CB134, 10” Frame SB2115

Other Products Used: Fancy Pins, Chalkboard Paint, Rhinestone Buttons, Bazzill Cardstock, Cheery Lynn Boarder Die

“Boo” Treats by:  Debbie Marcinkiewicz

“I used The 13th Hour Collection to create this adorable bat and treat bag filled with Lindt Truffle Chocolates!  The bat was made by tracing a template onto a brown grocery store bag; trace the pattern again a bit smaller onto patterned paper, cut out all pieces and stuff the bat with soft fiber filling.  Decorate both pieces as desired!”

“Treat Bags” by Michelle Frisby

Materials used :
P735 Twilight, P734 Dusk, Ss112 sticker sheet, CB134 printed chipboard, EM965 acetate shapes

Extras : bakers twine, cellophane wrapper and candy bars purely for decoration purposes [honest]

Michelle says:
“We don’t actually celebrate Halloween in our family, but I’m sure that we will have a few children come knocking at our door later this month and I will now have a few treats all packaged and ready for them.
I’ve popped a few chocolate treats into a cellophane bag and made a paper wrapper to go around them, punched out a circle in the front, added a topper, a little bakers twine and a chipboard clock and voila.
The smaller treat bag is using the same template that Janna used last month when she made a Christmas treat bag.  This wee treat bag is a fabulous size for some small candy treats.  I’ve adhered one of the acetate shapes to the front, a similar sticker with the birds and branches to the back from the sticker sheet, punched a hole, threaded through some bakers twine, added the clock tag and used the wee bird stickers.
I’m sure that whoever receives the candy treats will love it.
Happy creating”.
